I’m Taylor. I earned my degree in Communications, and one web design elective changed my direction. It was my first real introduction to HTML, CSS and design principles, and I was hooked. I started freelancing in 2020, and what began as pandemic-era work became the work I wanted to keep doing: understanding the business behind a brand and building the digital presence to match it.
After graduating, I spent about a year studying software engineering before shifting my focus to UX design. That technical foundation still shapes how I work today. I understand how digital experiences are built underneath the surface, which is why I think about brand, content, interface and the systems behind them as one connected experience.
A premium site often feels effortless, but that feeling is usually the result of dozens of deliberate decisions. I care about those details, and I also care about what the site is there to do. A beautiful website that doesn’t support the business isn’t doing enough. I design from a UX foundation, always asking whether the journey is clear, whether it earns trust, and whether it helps people take the next step.
I think of myself as a translator: you know your business better than anyone; I turn that into a digital experience that makes sense to the people you want to reach.
I keep my client list intentionally small so I can stay close to each project. I work best with founders who care deeply about what they’re building and want a thoughtful partner, not just another set of hands. That means asking the right questions, noticing opportunities or gaps along the way, and staying involved from the early decisions through launch.
I start with the business, not the template. Every project begins by understanding what you’re selling, who needs to trust you, and how the digital experience needs to work behind the scenes. From there, I shape the strategy, visual direction, and content, then bring everything together in the build and refine it collaboratively until it feels right and works the way it should.
