03 — About

You'll work with me, start to finish.

I'm Taylor. I came to this work in 2020, a media and film graduate who fell for web design in a single elective and never looked back. What began as freelancing through the pandemic became the thing I do best: understanding the business behind a brand, and building the presence that does it justice. I went on to study UX design, the foundation this whole practice still runs on, along with enough of the technical, engineering side to understand how things are actually built. So the work holds up underneath, not just on the surface.

Most people know a premium site when they see one; few can say why it works. That's my job: the small, deliberate details that make something feel considered, and the patience to refine until it's right. A beautiful site that doesn't convert isn't doing its job, though, so I design from a UX foundation, always asking not only how it looks but how it moves: whether the journey is clear, whether it earns trust, whether it sells.

I think of myself as a translator: you know your business better than anyone; I turn that into something that actually performs.

That often means surfacing the piece you didn't realize was missing. I keep my list small on purpose, and I work with founders who genuinely care about what they're building, people I can partner with rather than just execute for. I'll take the time to know you and your business, stay in close communication at every stage, and make sure you never feel like you're doing it alone. Clients tell me that's the part they remember most.

04 — The Process

Strategy first.
Design always
second.

Every project starts with one question: what does success look like for this business in three years? The answer shapes every visual decision that follows. No arbitrary choices. No trends for their own sake.

1
Discovery
We learn your business like we're going to run it. Competitors, clients, gaps, aspirations.
2
Strategy
Positioning, messaging, visual language, built on what we found, not what's trending.
3
Design
The visual execution of the strategy. Every decision traceable to a business reason.
4
Launch
A system, not just a deliverable. So it holds up, and grows, without us.
05 — Questions

Good to know.

It depends on scope. A full editorial site starts around $2,500; a simpler one-page site starts around $1,000. Larger sites and online stores run higher. Before we begin, you get one clear price in writing; itemized, no surprises later. Not ready for a full project? There's a smaller first step, just below.

No. Payment is split into stages as the work progresses; usually two or three across the project, not one sum up front. We set the schedule together before anything begins.

Most people don't, at first. They come to me with "can you look at my site and tell me what to fix," or "I want to start but I don't know where." That's what the Strategic Audit is for. For $250, I review your site or your goals and tell you what needs to happen, and in what order. You leave knowing where you stand; whether you hire me or not. If we build together, the $250 goes toward your project.

A simpler site takes 2–4 weeks. A larger site or online store, 4–8. We set your timeline before we begin, and I hold to it.

Yes. Every site I build is structured to be found; built clean, fast, and organized the way search engines read. That's the foundation of SEO, and it's included. If you want to actively climb the rankings over time, we can build that in.

No. A rough sense of your brand and goals helps, but you don't need finished writing or photography to begin. If you need the words or the visuals, that's part of the work. I'll tell you what I need, and when.

That depends on how it's built. Simpler sites are easy to update yourself, and I'll show you how. Custom sites are built for speed and precision; larger changes to those are best left to me or another developer. Either way, I offer maintenance plans, so your site is looked after as you grow.

Whatever serves your project; I'm not loyal to one tool. Mainly three: Shopify for online stores, WordPress for content-heavy sites, and Wix Studio for clean, design-led builds. When something more custom is needed, I build that too. The tool follows your goals, never the reverse.

Expected. You'll review the work at set points and ask for changes then. We agree on how many rounds are included before we start, so it's clear on both sides. Want more beyond that? We scope it; you'll always know the cost first.
